The
Dutch Colonial Style home gets its main feature from the gambrel
roof and dormer windows. And in many cases, we see the chimneys
on each end and the flared eaves. This design was built between
1890 and 1930, and the house has brick or stone facing and is
typically a symmetrical design.
The home takes advantage of the roof area for living space and
the dormer windows in the front are generally not very tall.
To match
the architecture of the home, we see a stone fence between the
sidewalk and the front yard.
