Examination Criteria

Web 01-001 Level 1

Objective:

To test an individual's basic web design ability and speed of creating a simple.

Resources:

You will need a Pentium 4 class computer with a basic text editor software. JPEG images are provided.

Time:

You have 60 minutes to complete the problem with banner, image, hyperlinks, text and copyright statement.

Success Criteria:

You must be able to create a single HTML web page in 60 minutes. Finish in 30 minutes for a one hundred percent score, to 60 minutes for a eighty-five percent score. You will lose one percentage point for every two minutes exceeding 30. You will lose one percent for every error. Passing score is a 85%.

Training Plan:

Work through chapters one through two of the World Class CAD, Designing for Web Communication textbook. You may do as many practice problems as you wish.
