Examination Criteria

Microstation AC02-003 3D Level 3

Objective:

To test your 3D assembly drawing ability and speed by creating the solids in Microstation, and completing the 2D part drawing including overall dimensions and a bill of material.

Resources:

You will need a Pentium 4 class computer with an Microstation PowerDraft software. Titleblocks are provided.

Time:

You have 120 minutes to complete the problem with dimensions, notes, bill of materials, and title block.

Success Criteria:

You must be able to draw the problem within 120 minutes. Finish in 60 minutes for a one hundred percent score, to 120 minutes for a eighty-five percent score. You will lose one percent for every four minute exceeding 60. You will lose one percent for every error. Passing score is a 85%.

Training Plan:

Work through chapters one through eighteen of the World Class CAD, Advancing with 3D CAD textbook. You may do as many practice problems as you wish.
