Examination Criteria

Microstation MS02-002 3D Level 2

Objective:

To test your 3D solid drawing ability and speed by creating the revolved solid in Microstation CAD software and complete the 2D part drawing.

Resources:

You will need a Pentium 4 class computer with an Microstation PowerDraft software. Titleblocks are provided.

Time:

You have 30 minutes to complete the problem.

Success Criteria:

You must be able to draw the solid in Microstation PowerDraft and complete the 2D part drawing within 30 minutes. Finish in 15 minutes for a one hundred percent score, to 30 minutes for a eighty-five percent score. You will lose one percent for every minute exceeding 15. You will lose one percent for every error. Passing score is a 85%.

Work through chapters one through fourteen of the World Class CAD, Advancing with 3D CAD textbook. You may do as many practice problems as you wish.
