Examination Criteria

AutoCAD AC01-002 2D Level 2

Objective:

To test your Orthographic drawing ability and speed by creating a multiple view layout of two or three views.

Resources:

You will need a Pentium 4 class computer with an AutoCAD 2000, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 or 2008 software. Titleblocks are provided.

Time:

You have 30 minutes to complete the problem with dimensions, notes, and title block.

Success Criteria:

You must be able to draw the problem within 30 minutes. Finish in 15 minutes for a one hundred percent score, to 30 minutes for a eighty-five percent score. You will lose one percent for every minute exceeding 15. You will lose one percent for every error. Passing score is a 85%.

Training Plan:

Work through chapters one through twelve of the World Class CAD, Fundamentals of 2D Drawing textbook. You may do as many practice problems as you wish.
